Shield Bash and Defiant Stance gain taunt properties if your Sword has a Carnelian gem equipped, so be sure your Sword has one. You should pick up Shield Bash and Defiant Stance in this mastery tree, then opt for the Whirling Blade mastery from the Swordmaster tree.

The Defender Tree is a good place to start for the Sword.

Tactical Strike: Whirling Blade's cooldown is reduced by 10% for each enemy hit.

Opportunity: Whirling Blade reduces the target's armor by 5% for 10 seconds.

Concussive Bash: Shield Bash's stun now lasts for 3 seconds.

Intimidating Bash: Shield Bash generates more threat and deals 100% more damage.

Taunt Gem Compatible: Hit targets are taunted for 6 seconds.

Description: Deal 50% weapon damage and stun targets in front of you for 2 seconds.
